Foreign experts share about artificial intelligence (AI) at the conference

Saigon International University said the conference gathered nearly 500 international and domestic delegates. This event is an opportunity for scientists and experts to discuss the application of AI not only in science but also in solving urgent global challenges in areas such as health, education and administration...

In particular, the conference attracted nearly 30 in-depth research papers from world-class scientists, focusing on breakthrough applications of technology and AI in many fields of medicine, education, environment, social technology, etc. Many papers mentioned concerns of AI users around the world such as job loss, fraud, etc.

Taking the example of the establishment of a federal system that has effectively changed management, Mr. Sharad Sharma - Senior Advisor on AI to the United Nations Secretary-General, member of the National Startup Advisory Council (India), co-founder of iSPIRT Foundation - related the story of applying AI to become a digital infrastructure for regional and national management.

He shared that India has built public infrastructure in the digital space and created a strong digital transformation. In particular, protocols can be applied in many different fields such as commerce, healthcare, etc. Public technologies that are effectively applied in India can be completely shared with other countries, as long as when applied in that country, there is a need for cultural, lifestyle, and human compatibility to create the most suitable system.

Concluding the workshop, Mr. Ramu Damodaran, Permanent Observer of the University for Peace (UPEACE) to the United Nations, hoped that all stakeholders – from governments to educational institutions, technology companies and civil society organizations – would work together to carry out common tasks, including: Collaborating on research, development and establishing policy frameworks to ensure the ethical use of AI, putting the public interest first; investing in infrastructure systems and human capital that can replicate models, along with interdisciplinary academic fields to continuously improve AI; fighting for a transparent, accountable, open, human dignity-respecting governance of AI technology, ensuring everyone has access and promoting global cooperation.
