ANTD.VN - The General Department of Taxation said that, up to now, the whole country has over 4,100 retail stores selling gasoline and oil issuing electronic invoices for each sale, an increase of 151.8% compared to December 1, 2023.

Thus, compared to a total of about 17,000 gasoline retail stores, nearly 1/4 issue electronic invoices for each sale.

Notably, despite many difficulties, many localities have a high rate of retail gasoline stores implementing electronic invoices.

To encourage businesses and retail stores of petroleum in the area to issue electronic invoices after each sale, the tax authority has issued many documents directing the tax departments of provinces and centrally run cities to advise the People's Committee to direct local agencies to proactively coordinate with the tax authority to promptly implement synchronous and effective solutions, and resolutely require retail businesses of petroleum to issue electronic invoices after each sale in accordance with the provisions of law, the direction of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Finance .

The Ministry of Finance said it will continue to direct the General Department of Taxation to direct local tax authorities to resolutely implement the Prime Minister 's direction on electronic invoices for retail gasoline and oil business in accordance with regulations.

Accordingly, sharing experiences of localities with high results for other localities to study and guide businesses and retail stores of gasoline in the locality to implement.

At the same time, resolutely deploy tasks to the leaders of the tax department, leaders of tax departments and branches and specifically to the civil servants managing the unit to work and propagate policies, regulations and laws on electronic invoices to each enterprise and retail store of gasoline so that the units clearly understand, fully perceive their responsibilities and commit to issuing electronic invoices after each sale according to regulations.
