More than 460 Chinese tourists take train to Nha Trang

(Fatherland) - A group of Chinese tourists traveling across Vietnam by train stopped at Nha Trang station (Khanh Hoa) to visit some famous tourist attractions of the coastal city on the morning of November 30.

At around 6am, train SNT4 carrying 462 Chinese tourists from Ho Chi Minh City stopped at Nha Trang station ( Khanh Hoa ). This was a group of Chinese tourists experiencing a 10-day-night cross-Vietnam train tour.

In Nha Trang City, the delegation will stay 1 night at 4-star hotels, visit some tourist attractions such as Ponagar Tower, Hon Chong scenic spot, VinWonders Nha Trang,... As soon as they got off the train station, the Chinese delegation was given flowers and souvenirs by leaders of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, said that this event is part of the tourism promotion activities in 2024 of Khanh Hoa province, contributing to perfecting the new tourism product "cross-Vietnam train tourism", creating momentum for tourism development, promoting the attraction of international tourists to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.

The welcoming ceremony also contributes to creating connections between agencies, railway sectors, and tourism businesses in the province; contributing to building the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism "Friendly - Quality - Safe".

"This is a new type of tourism service that helps tourists experience beautiful routes and scenic spots across Vietnam. We hope that international travel companies will continue to research service packages for tourists via such trains," said Ms. Thanh.

Last week, the Chinese tourist group entered Vietnam through Mong Cai border gate (Quang Ninh) and then visited Ha Long. Then, they moved to Hanoi, took a train to visit Da Nang, Binh Thuan, and Ho Chi Minh City. On the return trip, after resting in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, the group will continue to Hue and end in Hanoi./.

In the first 11 months of 2024, Khanh Hoa province welcomed more than 10 million visitors, exceeding the annual plan by 12.3%. Of which, more than 4.2 million were international visitors, exceeding the plan by 41%.
