At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the organization of the Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Open Golf Tournament in 2023. Accordingly, the tournament is expected to take place on November 18, 2023 at Anara Binh Tien Golf Course, Cong Hai Commune (Thuan Bac). With the participation of about 80-120 Golfers, of which Binh Thuan has 50-60 Golfers, Ninh Thuan has 30-40 Golfers, the rest are Golfers who are invited delegates, sponsors and Golfers from Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City... Golfers will compete in individual events for men and women with the format of 18-hole stroke play and scoring according to Handicap System 36. Up to now, the preparation of the field, facilities, funding and related conditions for the organization of the competition and the opening and closing ceremonies... have been carried out according to the set schedule.
Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.
Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested promoting propaganda on mass media systems, continuing to mobilize golfers and clubs to fully participate in order to build the Golf movement in the province. Departments, branches and related units review the assigned work content, carefully prepare documents and invitations to send to neighboring localities to participate, create exchanges, connections and promote the movement. Review and work with sponsors to mobilize funding to ensure the successful organization of the Golf Tournament.
