Hung Yen prepares to organize mass meetings

(CLO) On March 10, the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee and members of the Provincial People's Committee met to review and give opinions on a number of important contents.

At the meeting, the Department of Home Affairs submitted a report on requesting approval for the arrangement of mass organizations in the province. The Department of Agriculture and Environment submitted a draft report summarizing the implementation results of Plan No. 93a/KH-UBND dated March 31, 2017 of the Provincial People's Committee and the implementation results of Resolution No. 40-NQ/TU dated July 31, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in Hung Yen province; a report on the abolition of Decision No. 3022/QD-UBND dated December 28, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the Project "Improving the efficiency of site clearance work to implement investment projects in the province".

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van chaired the meeting.

Based on the content of the submissions and draft reports of the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Agriculture and Environment, delegates gave their opinions on a number of issues such as: The arrangement of mass associations in the province needs to pay attention to the arrangement of overlapping associations and associations of similar nature; the implementation of Plan No. 93a needs to be maintained, without stopping; it is necessary to evaluate the results up to the current stage, then immediately issue a new plan; replace the summary with a preliminary review of the stage.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van requested the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to absorb the opinions expressed at the meeting. Regarding the proposal on requesting approval to arrange mass meetings in the province, the Department of Home Affairs agreed on the contents of the proposal to submit to the next meeting.
