The live show was held in Uva village, Noong Luong commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province.
The live show "UVA Legend" includes 3 chapters: Chapter I - Legend of Thai people and UVA (legend of gourd), Ancient marks of Thai people; Chapter II - Legend of Khan Pieu (praising love and the legend of Khau cut); Chapter III - Rituals and culture - Humanistic, ancient beauty, pride of Thai people and the connection between present and past (between people today and their origins, sources).
The program is associated with the natural landscape of Uva Hot Spring Resort and Uva Lotus Lake.
The event is expected to bring visitors new, unique and attractive experiences, soon becoming a unique tourism product of the province; contributing to connecting the community and businesses to build attractive, widespread and cohesive products.
In addition, the program shows the most typical cultural features of the regions, promotes the country's tourism development potential, links between regions, cultural identities of ethnic groups in Dien Bien - Northwest, and Dien Bien Phu Victory.
This is also an invitation to "Return to the land of Hoa Ban" to friends and domestic and international tourists.
In the National Tourism Year 2024, Dien Bien is the host locality with 169 programs and events in response; of which 13 national programs and events are organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, ministries, departments and central branches; Dien Bien province is the host of 28 programs, events and activities; 128 events and activities are organized by 33 provinces and centrally-run cities.
To contribute to the success of the Opening Ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien and the Ban Flower Festival 2024, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere during the festival, Dien Bien province plans to organize a low-altitude fireworks display, lasting 15 minutes at 9:45 p.m. on March 16 at the center of Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien province.
The opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien and the Ban Flower Festival 2024 with the theme "Returning to the Ban Flower Land" is a typical event on a national scale.
The festival is organized with a series of activities throughout 2024, an opportunity for Dien Bien province to attract domestic and international tourists to Vietnam through introducing and promoting the image, tangible and intangible cultural values, resources and unique tourism products of Vietnam in general and Dien Bien province in particular; at the same time, contributing to strongly promoting the connection of tourism development between localities.
