Mr. Herzi Halevi emphasized that this is not the limit of Israel's military capabilities. According to the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli army, the attack on the Hezbollah leader was carefully prepared for a long time and carried out with high precision. Israel is also planning the next steps.

On September 28, Reuters news agency quoted regional sources as saying that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had been moved to a safe location with tight security.

The move comes after Israel announced it had killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an attack south of Beirut on September 27.

Iran is actively communicating with Hezbollah and other allied forces in the region to determine its next response.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on September 28 that Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an IDF airstrike on the outskirts of the Lebanese capital Beirut the day before.

The IDF added that Hezbollah's southern front commander Ali Karaki was also killed along with several other commanders of the Lebanon-based armed group.

The Israeli Air Force attacked Hezbollah's central headquarters using precise intelligence from its intelligence wing and defense systems. The headquarters is located underground, beneath a residential building in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
