On the evening of October 18, at Ninh Binh Dinosaur Park, the Department of Tourism held the opening ceremony of the Ninh Binh Tourism Food Festival 2024 with the theme " Culinary quintessence of the Ancient Capital".
Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Department of Tourism , the Provincial Tourism Association, the Tourism Information and Promotion Center, leading Vietnamese artisans and chefs, representatives of Xuan Khiem Group, tourism service businesses, and a large number of people and tourists.
After the music with attractive and exciting performances, tourists and people can admire the unique art of mixing drinks.
In particular, at the Opening Ceremony, there was a culinary promotion activity by the Vietnam Chefs Association, the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association, and the Vietnam Royal Chefs Association, cooking a giant pot of crab soup with thousands of servings to thank tourists.
The 2024 Ninh Binh Tourism Food Festival attracts the participation of 8 districts and cities in the province with 100 booths of businesses inside and outside the province.
The main activities taking place during the festival include: Regional cuisine display space; culinary tourism competition with traditional trays (for the King), food preparation; discussion on developing Ninh Binh culinary tourism culture.
Along with a series of activities responding to the event including competitions: Artistic flower arrangement, English Champion, cake making, chess, searching for Tourism Ambassador - shining with Ninh Binh culinary tourism...
This is an important event, not only for the tourism industry but also for the overall cultural and economic development of the province; contributing to preserving, honoring and promoting the value of traditional culinary culture, researching and restoring dishes in the ancient Royal style of Hoa Lu Capital.
At the same time, through the Festival, introduce and promote the quintessence of traditional cuisine of the ancient capital, enhance the value and quality of dishes to serve tourists, create new, unique and attractive tourism products, attracting a large number of people and domestic and international tourists.
The event is free and runs until October 29, 2024.
