Urgently prepare for the new school year 2025

Preparations for the new school year have many contents that must be completed during the summer vacation, so as soon as the 2024-2025 school year ends, educational institutions have started preparing for the new school year 2025-2026. Specifically, educational institutions proactively coordinate with local authorities to review the number of children by age to conduct primary school enrollment; urgently repair and upgrade classrooms, auxiliary works, etc. Many construction projects have been completed and some are being urgently completed, ready to serve students at the beginning of the new school year.

At Hoa My Dong Primary School (Hoa My commune), the contractor has just completed and handed over to the school 6 functional rooms (computer room, music room, art room, library, foreign language room, medical room) at the main facility in Phu Nhieu village.

Mr. Le Van Tuong, Principal of Hoa My Dong Primary School, shared that in addition to the main campus, the school also has 4 campuses located in Phu Thuan, Van Loc, Xuan My, and Lac Chay villages with a total of nearly 1,000 students. In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will have 32 classrooms, 3 computer rooms, 3 English rooms, a music room, an art room, a multi-function room, 2 libraries, a medical room, a covered sports field, etc.

Thanks to the investment in 6 new functional rooms at the main campus, the school ensures facilities and equipment to meet the teaching and learning needs of students.

Nguyen Hue High School No. 2 (Tuy Hoa Ward) upgraded the school yard to prepare for the new school year 2025 - 2026.

These days, relevant units are urgently completing the drainage system and 9 functional rooms for Nguyen Hue High School No. 2 (Tuy Hoa Ward). Mr. Le Thanh Phuong, Principal of Nguyen Hue High School No. 2, said: “In previous school years, the school had enough classrooms (24 rooms) but did not have functional rooms according to the 2018 General Education Program, so the implementation of the teaching and learning plan had certain difficulties. In the 2025-2026 school year, the newly built, modern functional rooms will help students have more interesting and complete learning experiences. The school will strive to innovate teaching and learning methods to promote resources in terms of facilities, gradually improving the quality of education of the whole school”.

In addition to focusing on preparing facilities, schools also pay special attention to consolidating knowledge for students; strengthening connections between schools, families and local authorities to carry out the task of caring for children's education.

From the beginning of June 2025 until now, Hoa My Dong Primary School (Hoa My Commune) has always maintained Math and Vietnamese review classes for 11 first-graders of the school. Ms. Phan Thi Hieu, Vice Principal of Hoa My Dong Primary School, shared that summer students (in 5 classes of the 2024-2025 school year) are those at risk of being held back. Therefore, homeroom teachers of each class have proactively coordinated with parents to provide tutoring and consolidate knowledge for students during the summer. The school organized the first test in early August 2025; teachers continued to consolidate knowledge for students who did not pass the second test at the end of August.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Hoa Hong Kindergarten (Ea Sup commune) was assigned to recruit 167 new students. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Principal of Hoa Hong Kindergarten, said that the school is focusing on enrollment to ensure that the total number of students in the school reaches 345 (16 classes). During the process of receiving applications, the enrollment department also collects information, informs about contact methods, and guides parents in doing psychological work for their children at home. Currently, the school is trimming trees, cleaning the school grounds and classrooms; reviewing facilities to ensure a safe learning environment for the children. During the preparation process, the school also received attention and direction from the Party Committee and People's Committee of Ea Sup commune and was invested in 50 new sets of desks and chairs to serve students in this new school year.

The 2025-2026 school year is the first school year after the province's merger and the establishment of a two-level local government. The Department of Education and Training has organized working groups to communes and wards to grasp the situation of state management of education and training; guide schools in coordinating with localities to prepare for the new school year; review facilities, teachers, staff, etc.

According to Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan, during the working process with commune-level authorities and school leaders, the department requested heads of units to continue researching and strictly implementing relevant documents and instructions in the preparation process for the new school year 2025 - 2026. In particular, focusing on digital transformation in education; researching and implementing many solutions to improve the quality of mass education from the beginning of the school year...

In the 2025-2026 school year, the whole province has 1,383 educational institutions from preschool to high school, including: 453 preschools, 456 primary schools, 327 secondary schools, 22 ethnic boarding secondary schools, 92 high schools, 23 vocational education - continuing education centers...
