Communist Magazine organizes the publication and launching ceremony of a special issue with the theme "Removing institutional bottlenecks for the country to rise up"

In order to contribute to clarifying theoretical and practical issues related to institutional bottlenecks, one of the major barriers to national development, Communist Magazine organized the publication and launching ceremony of a special thematic publication with the theme "Unblocking institutional bottlenecks for the country to rise up".

Over the years, institutional reform has always been one of the key tasks of the Party and State to create conditions for economic development, improve the quality of state management and people's lives. However, according to General Secretary To Lam, institutions are the "bottleneck of bottlenecks" that must be quickly resolved so as not to miss the development pace of the country in the new era.

Speaking at the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly on October 21, 2024, General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed: "The existing shortcomings and limitations that have lasted for many years need to be urgently overcome, not to hinder development, cause waste, and miss opportunities for national development in the new era". Continuing this viewpoint, at the discussion session on the draft Law on Government Organization (amended) and the Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) on February 13, 2025, General Secretary To Lam emphasized: "There is no other way. To promote the development capacity of the whole society, the apparatus must serve society and motivate the people. Whatever hinders our development, whatever is a bottleneck, must be resolved. The whole society changes, everyone must think to implement".

Based on the direction of the General Secretary, the Communist Review has organized scientific seminars and thematic discussions with the participation of many experts, scientists and managers to better identify current institutional bottlenecks and propose effective solutions. The results of these seminars are the foundation for the formation of a special thematic publication with the theme "Unblocking institutional bottlenecks for the country to rise up in the new era".

The launching ceremony of the special issue organized by the Communist Magazine took place at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, with the aim of announcing and introducing the publication's content to agencies, organizations, academics and interested readers; assessing the current institutional situation, identifying bottlenecks that are hindering the country's development; proposing solutions for institutional reform in a flexible, synchronous and effective direction; creating a discussion forum among leaders, experts and businesses to find a suitable direction in the current context.

The special issue “Unblocking institutional bottlenecks for the country to rise up” is an in-depth study of institutional barriers that are hindering Vietnam’s socio-economic development, as well as international experience. The publication’s content not only analyzes theory but also offers practical reform proposals to promote growth and innovate the national development model in the new era, specifically: Identifying and classifying institutional bottlenecks; Impact of institutional reform on socio-economic development; Solutions to remove institutional bottlenecks; Learning from international experience in institutional reform.

The publication “Unblocking institutional bottlenecks for the country to rise up” not only has research value but also has high practical significance. This will be a useful document, helping policy makers in proposing appropriate reform measures, contributing to the completion of the national institutional system; helping businesses and investors about institutional reform trends, economic development orientation in the coming time; helping researchers and academics in creating a basis for further research on institutions, policies and public administration.
