Prosecution of woman who abused many children in Ba Ria - Vung Tau

The People's Procuracy of Vung Tau City has approved the decision of the Investigation Police Agency to prosecute and temporarily detain TTB (born in 1976, residing in Vung Tau City). Ms. B. was arrested for the crime of Torturing others under Article 140 of the Penal Code.

Previously, the Investigation Police Agency of Vung Tau City Police issued an emergency arrest warrant and decided to temporarily detain B. to investigate the act of child abuse.

Initial information, at around 8:30 p.m. on December 7, the People's Committee of Ward 7, Vung Tau City received information from the Ward Police reporting that a parent leaving their child at 318/6/1B Le Loi Street (Ward 7) accused Ms. B. of child abuse. This is a daycare center owned and directly looked after by B.

During the process of working with Ms. B., this person could not present the legal documents for opening the childcare center. Therefore, the authorities drew up a record requesting the facility to temporarily suspend operations and invited her to work with the Ward People's Committee.

On the same day, Ward 7 Police, Vung Tau City also received a criminal report from PD about Ms. B. abusing children and transferred the case to the Vung Tau City Police Investigation Agency for handling according to authority.

According to initial verification, Ms. TTB admitted to taking care of the children at her private home. On November 22, Ms. B. hired Ms. BTML (born in 1999, residing in Ward 9, Vung Tau City) to help, but on December 6, Ms. L. quit her job.

Authorities confirmed that Ms. B. had no expertise in preschool education and claimed to be a child care worker at the above address.

All of these actions were recorded by Ms. L. using her personal phone.
