No survivors in Chinese fishing boat capsize in Indian Ocean

According to the investigation report, the analysis of the ship's capsize, including the time of the incident, the structure and history of the ship's operations, as well as the fact that most of the ship's interior space was flooded, showed that there were no survivors in this accident.

The incident occurred in the early morning of May 16, when the fishing vessel "Lupeng Yuanyu 028" owned by Penglai Jinglu Fishery Company based in Shandong Province capsized in the Indian Ocean. There were a total of 39 people on board, including 17 Chinese sailors, 17 Indonesians and 5 Filipinos.

On May 22, China Central Television (CCTV) reported that seven bodies had been found, while the remaining crew members were still missing. A total of 13 ships, including three Chinese naval vessels and two foreign vessels, were involved in the search for the ship.
