On December 3, the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police said it was investigating and handling a driver driving a car with a fake license plate, repeatedly violating alcohol concentration and speed limits, and verbally insulting the police on duty.
Initial information, on the afternoon of October 3, on the road leading to Tien Son Bridge, the Patrol Team of the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police discovered a car with license plate 30F-328.07 driving at a speed exceeding the prescribed speed (89km/h on a road with a maximum speed of 60km/h) so they signaled the car to stop, but the driver used insulting words to the task force, then drove away.
After a quick verification, the traffic police identified the driver as Nguyen Duy Linh (44 years old, temporarily residing in Khue My ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang city).
Also according to verification, the owner and car with license plate 30F-328.07 are currently in Hanoi and did not enter Da Nang at the time Nguyen Duy Linh was driving the motorbike with license plate 30F-328.07 and violating the speed limit.
Traffic police inspected the vehicle with fake license plate 30F-328.07 used by Nguyen Duy Linh.
The Traffic Police Department continued to investigate and determined that Nguyen Duy Linh not only used car with license plate 30F-328.07 but also used car with license plate 51L-051.41 to go out drinking.
On the evening of November 29, when Nguyen Duy Linh left the pub and drove home with license plate 51L-051.41, the Traffic Police coordinated with Ngu Hanh Son District Police to check his alcohol concentration.
As a result, driver Nguyen Duy Linh had an alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 mg/liter of breath, so the task force drew up a report and revoked his driver's license according to regulations.
Not stopping there, on the afternoon of November 30, the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police discovered Nguyen Duy Linh driving a car with license plate 30F-328.07 on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, so they signaled him to stop the car for inspection.
Initially, it was determined that this vehicle used a fake inspection stamp and had no documents related to the vehicle. Verifying the chassis number and engine number of the car with license plate 30F-328.07, the result was that this vehicle had license plate 30F-156.96 and was owned by Hoang Ngan Tourism Transport Service Joint Stock Company (Hanoi).
Contacting the car owner, we were informed that this car was lost in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City 5 years ago.
Currently, the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police continues to coordinate with relevant units to investigate and clarify the incident for handling according to regulations.
