With the theme “The Future of Publishing in the Digital Age”, the event was organized by Alpha Books, in collaboration with the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Alliance (DCCA) and the Digital Copyright Center (DCC), under the auspices of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA). This is the first forum in Vietnam to focus entirely on the field of digital publishing, creating a space for connecting publishers, technology businesses and the media.
In the context of the publishing industry facing strong shifts in technology and artificial intelligence (AI), with major orientations from Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution 68 on private economic development, promoting initiatives and solutions to apply technology in publishing becomes more urgent than ever.
From paper books to e-books, from traditional reading to multimedia experiences (audio-visual-interactive), the publishing market is forced to adapt to the digital consumption habits of global readers.
DPS 2025 is expected to connect publishing, technology and media units; discuss new trends and business models. At the same time, propose solutions to develop a sustainable digital publishing industry, contributing to building a national digital content industry.
The forum will include two main discussion sessions. The morning session will focus on new models in digital publishing such as multi-channel publishing, digital content business models and the innovation potential of Vietnamese publishing in the technology era.
The afternoon session will focus on technology and market, with the highlight being the launch of “Beta Garden” – the first technology incubator dedicated to the publishing industry. Many AI and Blockchain application solutions in book production and distribution will also be introduced, opening up a space for investment connection and commercial cooperation right at the event.
The forum gathered the participation of leading technology and publishing enterprises in Vietnam such as: Mydio Application, Fonos Joint Stock Company, Akishop E-commerce Company Limited. The companionship of these enterprises not only brings practical sharing but also opens up many opportunities for cooperation and development of the publishing industry in the technology era.
