(NLDO) - Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, born in 1977, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, has been elected to hold the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.
On the afternoon of February 7, Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work. At the conference, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 16th term, 2020-2025.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong (born in 1977, from Giao Tien commune, Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province), professional qualifications: University of Construction, Master of Urban Construction Management, advanced political theory.
Before becoming Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Truong held positions such as Secretary of Sa Pa District Party Committee, Director of Department of Construction, Director of Department of Transport, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee.
Previously, on the morning of January 11, Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lao Cai province, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
