Lao Cai: Widespread heavy rain, some traffic routes were eroded and flooded

Due to the influence of the northern edge of the low pressure trough, combined with the high-altitude wind convergence zone, Lao Cai province experienced heavy to very heavy rain in the early morning of June 27. Rainfall was generally between 50 and 100 mm, with some places experiencing over 120 mm. Localities with very heavy rain such as Lao Cai city, Bat Xat and Muong Khuong districts caused flooding and landslides on many traffic routes.
