Large-scale Spring Festival 2024 in China

The 2024 Spring Festival TV Gala, an annual program produced and broadcast by China Media Group (CMG), will begin at 8 p.m. on February 9.

The gala will be broadcast on CMG TV, radio channels and social media, as well as on more than 1,000 public screens in more than 100 Chinese cities and on more than 3,000 public screens in 70 cities in 34 other countries, according to Xinhua.

The 2024 Spring Festival will feature a fusion of traditional Chinese culture and modern art forms, while using cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality and immersive interactive theater technology. China Global Television Network has also partnered with more than 1,500 media outlets in 200 countries and regions to broadcast and report on the gala via English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian channels as well as social media platforms in 68 different languages.
