Foreign Language Specialized High School (Foreign Language University, Hanoi National University) announces enrollment for class 10, school year 2025-2026.
According to the plan, candidates must have academic results, training, and graduation ranking from Good or higher.
Candidates will complete 4 subjects: Literature, Math, English, Specialized Foreign Language (candidates will take the test in English, French, Chinese, German, Japanese). Except for English, which is a multiple choice test, the remaining subjects will have an essay section.
Admission fee is 600,000 VND/candidate, including registration and exam fees. The fee must be submitted with the application and will not be refunded if the candidate fails the exam.

The school considers admission based on the principle of taking the total score from high to low until the quota is filled, respectively from the specialized system with scholarships and the specialized system. The admission score is the total score of the exam subjects on a 10-point scale, the specialized subject has a coefficient of 2 and is rounded to two decimal places.
The school also announces direct admission for junior high school students who have won national prizes organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or in coordination with ministries and ministerial-level agencies organized nationwide for competitions, exams, and contests on culture, arts, sports, scientific and technical research competitions; junior high school students who have won prizes in foreign languages in international competitions selected by the Ministry of Education and Training.
In addition, secondary school students who win first prize in foreign languages in the provincial/municipal excellent student selection exam organized by the Department of Education and Training will have 1.5 points added to their total admission score.
The school accepts online registration applications from May 5 to 11.
Last year, the Foreign Language High School had a benchmark score of 23.14 - 25.12, the highest in the French language class.
