The Provincial Military Command (PPC) has just held a ceremony to launch the 2024 training campaign. The Commander of the Provincial PPC, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Tran Huy attended.
At the launching ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan thoroughly grasped the combat training orders and tasks for 2024, focusing on continuing to thoroughly grasp the combat training orders of the Commander of Military Region 4, actively and proactively advising local Party committees and authorities to carry out local defense and military tasks.

Continue to adhere to the training motto of “Basic - Practical - Solid”; implement well the 3 viewpoints, 8 principles, 6 combinations in training. In particular, focus on synchronous and in-depth training, focus on practice, skillfully use technical equipment, increase night training, mobile training, high-intensity training in all conditions, close to the mission, target, area and combat plan.
Actively innovate in organization, training methods, and defense zone drills; closely combine training with regular construction, strictly comply with military discipline and state laws; build strong, comprehensive agencies and units that are "Exemplary and typical".
To successfully carry out the training mission in 2024, the Provincial Military Command launched an emulation movement with the theme: "Excellent training, strict training, high combat readiness, absolute safety", from March 1 to December 15, 2024 and a peak emulation movement to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory on May 7 (1954 - 2024) with the theme: "Following the footsteps of Dien Bien soldiers - Going forward to win 3 firsts".
With specific targets and objectives in training, that is to complete 100% of the training content, programs, and foster national defense and security knowledge according to regulations; organize drills in the defense area of Con Co island district, flood and storm prevention drills and search and rescue in Cam Lo district with good results and absolute safety; ensure 100% of training cadres are trained according to the hierarchy, of which 80% of battalion cadres and equivalent, 75% of company, platoon and equivalent cadres are good and excellent; 100% of training contents meet requirements, with 75% or more being good and excellent.
Focus on building "Four-good Party Cells" and "Four-good Grassroots Party Committees" by combining training with the implementation of key political tasks of agencies and units. Officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces are determined to successfully carry out local military and defense tasks, build a clean and strong Party Committee, and a comprehensively strong provincial armed force that is "exemplary and typical".
