Casemiro was forced to leave the pitch after half-time with a hamstring injury. The latest statement from MU read: "Casemiro will be out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury picked up in the Carabao Cup fourth round match against Newcastle. The Brazilian midfielder was substituted at half-time. According to the doctors, Casemiro has a muscle strain that will keep him out for several weeks."
Previously, coach Ten Hag also confirmed that Casemiro will definitely not be able to participate in the away match against Fulham this weekend.
