After impressing for RB Leipzig with 21 goals and 6 assists in 45 games in the 2024/25 season, the 22-year-old striker has become a target for Manchester United and Newcastle United. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, MU is seriously interested in Sesko, but has not made an official offer.
The move of the "Red Devils" depends on the final decision from the player. "MU confirmed that they will participate if Sesko chooses them," Romano revealed.
Meanwhile, Newcastle sent an offer worth 90 million euros, including 80 million euros upfront and 10 million euros in additional fees. Sky Sports confirmed that the "Magpies" accelerated strongly, in the context that Alexander Isak could leave due to interest from Liverpool.
However, British media believe that Sesko's price is currently too high. MU is unlikely to catch up with Newcastle in this deal. The "Magpies" have money to buy Sesko once they sell Isak to Liverpool for a record price. RB Leipzig only accepts the team that pays the highest fee.
