On July 17, at the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi), the first general training session of the parade and marching groups took place in preparation for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (mission A80). Speaking at the training session, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Deputy Minister of National Defense , said that after 40 years, the parade through the historic Ba Dinh Square once again featured military artillery and special police vehicles.
