Nghe An won 1 B prize and 1 C prize at the Contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day.

At the contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Protection Day organized by the Ministry of Public Security, Nghe An had 2 groups of authors winning prizes. Of which, the group of authors from Nghe An Public Security won the B prize, the group of authors from Nghe An Provincial Youth Union won the C prize.

The contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security (CAND) tradition day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) organized by the Ministry of Public Security aims to widely propagate to cadres, union members, youth and people about the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing of the heroic Vietnam People's Public Security force; about the meaning of the National Day for National Security Protection.

At the same time, it contributes to strengthening confidence, arousing pride, encouraging and motivating the masses and the young generation to promote spirit and responsibility, contributing their strength and intelligence to the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety associated with building a solid people's security posture.

The contest has two forms: Online interactive quiz and written test. In which, two groups of authors from Nghe An won prizes in the writing contest.

The writing contest will be held from March to June 2025, and is open to all classes of people across the country. The content revolves around the history of the establishment, combat and growth of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces; the precious traditions of the People's Public Security Forces over the past 80 years; achievements and feats on the front of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, for a peaceful life, and for the happiness of the People.

The Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on ensuring security and order, the strategy for building and protecting the Fatherland in the new period; the task of building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern public security force, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation and in the new era.

The feelings and emotions of the People and the youth towards the People's Public Security Forces, towards the image of the People's Public Security Soldier "forgetting himself for the country, serving the people", about the close relationship between the masses and the People's Public Security Forces; the responsibility to continue and promote the tradition, to contribute intelligence and youthful strength in the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety.

The entry of the group “Strengthening” - Nghe An Police won the second prize of the contest. The group of authors includes: Captain Chu Van Hoang (Department PX01, Provincial Police); Lieutenant Dam Minh Quang (Department PA02, Provincial Police); Lieutenant Nguyen Huu Duong (Nghia Hanh Commune Police); Lieutenant Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong (Do Luong Commune Police); Lieutenant Nguyen Nghia Binh (Nghia Khanh Commune Police).

The entry "Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam" by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union won the C prize. The group of authors includes: Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province; Nguyen Thi Quynh - Deputy Head of the Department of Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Nguyen Tien Dong - Reporter of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television; Nguyen Ho Manh - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; Trinh Thi Hang - Specialist of the Department of Youth and Children's Affairs, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province won the prize for Outstanding Collective in organizing the contest.
