Emotional sharing of Nhat Kim Anh
At the meeting, Nhat Kim Anh took the time to chat, visit and listen to memories of wartime. She emotionally shared: "Each house, each gift today, though small, contains all the gratitude of our generation. We bow our heads in gratitude to those who sacrificed their youth, their blood and bones to preserve every inch of our homeland."
Tay Do Battalion participated in more than 400 large and small battles during the resistance war against the US, burning 25 armored vehicles, warships and shooting down 17 planes. After the country's reunification, this unit continued to carry out international missions in Cambodia (1979 - 1989), contributing to maintaining peace and friendship between the two nations.
According to Nhat Kim Anh, the meeting is an opportunity for today's generation to express their deep gratitude for the pain and loss of families of war invalids and martyrs and those who contributed to the revolution. This activity is a bridge between generations, aiming to forever pass on the flame of patriotism.
