In addition, to support all students and families in the 26 provinces and cities mentioned above to reduce financial pressure during the current difficult time, the school has extended the tuition payment deadline for the next semester to January 15, 2025 instead of next November.

No opening ceremony

Previously, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-HCM) decided not to hold the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year to use funds to support people in flood-hit areas.

The entire cost of organizing the opening ceremony, 100 million VND, will be transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. In addition, the school is also launching and calling on officials, employees and students to continue to contribute to support the program.

“Although we know this is always a special occasion in the hearts of every young person and new student, the school believes that this year's opening ceremony is truly meaningful. And the most important thing at this time is the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of... the Humanists,” said the school leader.

The school leaders also hope that students, partners, employees, and parents will understand, sympathize, support, and accompany the school.
