NTO - Opening of the Ninh Thuan Off-Road Car-Motorcycle Race on Sand

On June 17, at Mui Dinh sand hill, Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee and Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee jointly organized the Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Open Off-Road Car-Motorbike Race on Sand in 2023. Attending were comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Off-Road Car and Motorcycle Race on Sand has the participation of nearly 200 athletes from domestic and international racing teams and clubs, competing in 2 categories. For motorcycles, there are the following categories: amateur, semi-professional and professional. For cars, there are the original pickup truck category; upgraded pickup truck category and SUV. On June 17, the race took place in the original pickup truck category. The athletes went through a time trial with a distance of more than 10km with high difficulty, winding roads, around the foot of sand dunes and mountainsides. With great effort, the athletes showed off their techniques and driving skills, creating an attractive and spectacular competition. The race has created a playground for athletes across the country to participate and express their passion for adventure sports.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded commemorative medals to athletes participating in the tournament.

After the original pickup truck competition, the remaining events will take place until June 18. The tournament promises to bring athletes thrilling and attractive performances, with many different experiences contributing to introducing the image of Ninh Thuan homeland and people to domestic and foreign tourists.
