The fact that the Department of Education and Training of An Lao district issued a document requesting special consideration for the above-mentioned female student who had an accident to enter a public high school is "not thorough".
“This is an entrance exam, not a graduation exam. Only graduation exams have special regulations,” said Mr. Kiem.
The leaders of the city's Department of Education and Training shared with the leaders of the An Lao District Department of Education and Training out of concern for the student as well as the family's wishes. This morning, the Department of Education and Training also met with relevant departments to review the incident and share with the family.
After the female student’s health is stable, if she wishes to continue studying in high school, the Department will direct private schools to accept her and provide maximum support so that she can study in grade 10 in the next school year. If she wants to study at a public school, the female student will retake the exam normally in the next school year 2024-2025 according to her wishes.
Previously, at around 3:15 a.m. on June 2, at his home in Van Trang 1 residential group, Mr. PVT (born in 1974) and his two daughters, PMH and PNK, fainted in a car parked in the family garage. Mr. T.'s wife and local residents took the three people to Kien An Hospital. However, at around 7 a.m. the same day, PMH died.
After receiving the report, the An Lao District Police Investigation Agency coordinated with relevant units to investigate and clarify the case.
On the evening of June 2, Mr. Vu Ngoc Dung - Head of the Department of Education and Training of An Lao district (Hai Phong) - said that the unit will make a report to the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong to request special permission for PNK (born 2008) to take the 10th grade entrance exam this year.
