During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Giang district successfully implemented the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 12th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of the district (term 2019 - 2024). The role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels was promoted, creating motivation for the entire population to participate in successfully implementing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns and socio -economic development goals, ensuring national defense and security in the locality.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front from district to grassroots level mobilized more than 4 billion VND, presented 102 solidarity houses, received and presented thousands of gifts worth 1.5 billion VND to poor, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district supervised the implementation of support policies during and after the COVID-19 pandemic; received and allocated nearly 723 million VND to support COVID-19 prevention and control; mobilized members, union members and people from all walks of life to support people facing difficulties due to the pandemic with more than 16,400 tons of food and foodstuffs with a total value of more than 167 million VND; mobilized donations to the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund of more than 300 million VND...
From the programs and projects of the Party, the State, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the district coordinates with member organizations to implement economic development models for poor and near-poor households. Thereby helping many households to escape poverty sustainably, contributing to reducing the average annual poverty rate from 7.76% to 2,858 poor households (50.61%).
From the provincial relief fund, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district visited and provided support to 306 households affected by natural disasters and fires with a total amount of more than 12 billion VND. In 2023 alone, 5 houses completely burned down in Arang village (A Xan commune) were supported with a total amount of 1.4 billion VND.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Giang district also coordinated to organize 5 direct dialogues between leaders of Party committees and authorities at all levels with the people; 6 meetings between voters and National Assembly deputies; 8 meetings between voters and provincial People's Council deputies; 180 meetings between voters and district and commune People's Council deputies.
The Congress elected the 13th term Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Giang district, consisting of 57 members. Mr. Briu Quan was re-elected Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Tay Giang district awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 7 individuals; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Front in the period 2019 - 2024.
