On the morning of June 21, at the 13th session of the 10th Quang Nam Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, delegates voted to elect the position of Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
At the meeting, 100% of the delegates present elected Mr. Le Van Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee - to hold the position of Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Le Van Dung spoke after receiving his new assignment.
Mr. Le Van Dung (born in 1966, hometown Que Binh commune, Hiep Duc district, Quang Nam province).
In 2004-2010, Mr. Le Van Dung held the position of Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hiep Duc district; in 2010-2014, he held the position of Chief of the Office of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, delegate of the 8th term Quang Nam Provincial People's Council; in 2015-2019, he held the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; from 2019 to present, he has held the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.
At the meeting, 100% of delegates present re-elected Mr. Tran Nam Hung to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
At the meeting on April 8, Mr. Tran Nam Hung was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; however, the election of Mr. Tran Nam Hung at this meeting was not conducted in accordance with the procedures, so a re-election had to be held.

Also at the meeting, 100% of the delegates present elected Mr. Phan Thai Binh - Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee - to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Phan Thai Binh (born in 1974, hometown Que Xuan 2 commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam province), has a Master's degree in law. Mr. Phan Thai Binh is currently a delegate of the 15th National Assembly.
