Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc re-elected Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City

(Dan Tri) - After consulting with members of the 12th Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee, the congress elected Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to continue as Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee.
On the morning of October 2, the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City officially opened. Delegates conducted personnel consultations to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term XII, 2024-2029. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term XII, will have a total of 150 members. Notably, the city has piloted the inclusion of the Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the commune level in the City-level Committee. The specific list of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City presented at the Congress includes 141 members. Of which, 9 people will be added after the Congress, including 2 member organizations and 7 outstanding individuals. After the consultation was completed, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held the first conference of the 12th term. At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc was elected by the Congress as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, 12th term. The full-time Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City include Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Mr. Ngo Thanh Son, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan. The part-time Vice Chairmen include Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Hero of Labor, People's Physician, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong; Most Venerable Thich Le Trang, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ho Chi Minh City; Priest Dominico Dinh Ngoc Le, Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc, Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Phan Thanh Binh, former member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture, Education , Youth, Adolescents and Children, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University; Mr. Tran Huu Phuoc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City. The standing members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term XII, include Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Huong, Ms. Hoang Mai Quynh Hoa, Mr. Le Nguyen Hong Quang, Ms. Duong Thi Huyen Tram, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet, Mr. Thach Nghi Xuan.
