As described in Time 's shortlist, Mr. Trump made a strong comeback with victory in the 2024 US election. US Vice President Kamala Harris was also on the final nomination list for the " Person of the Year 2024" award.
The list also includes Kate Middleton, Russian economist Yulia Navalnaya, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
