While Democratic candidate Kamala Harris targets Michigan, Republican candidate Donald Trump is heading to the three biggest swing states less than 48 hours before the US Presidential election.
Michigan is one of seven closely watched battleground states. Trump also flipped Michigan, a former Democratic stronghold, on his way to defeating Hillary Clinton in 2016. President Joe Biden returned the state to the Democrats in 2020, with the help of unions and the black community.

The race for the White House is currently extremely tight, with many states having similar polling results. About 75 million voters have participated in early voting.
According to the polling average published by RealClearPolitics, as of the evening of November 2, no candidate had a lead of more than three points in any of the seven battleground states that will decide the presidency.
Vice President Kamala Harris cast her ballot by mail ahead of Election Day. A day earlier, Trump and Harris traveled to North Carolina to rally support in the southeastern battleground state. This was the fourth time Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have visited the same state on the same day.

As the race enters its final stages, the US Vice President's campaign team plans to hold networking events in seven battleground states on November 4 to rally voter support.
