Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (Code BFC) has just been issued a decision by the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department on administrative penalties for tax violations with a total fine and arrears of more than 2.6 billion VND.
Specifically, Binh Dien Fertilizer was fined VND444.5 million for administrative violations of tax. At the same time, the company was charged over VND2.2 billion for false declarations leading to a shortage of corporate income tax payable.

Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department announced that within 10 days from receiving the tax penalty decision, Mr. Ngo Van Dong - General Director of Binh Dien Fertilizer must implement the decision, pay the fine and collect tax arrears.
Established in 1973, Binh Dien Fertilizer was formerly Thanh Tai Fertilizer Company - Thataco. The company operates in the field of production and trade of agricultural chemicals.
Regarding business activities, in the first quarter of 2024, Binh Dien Fertilizer recorded revenue of VND 1,968 billion, an increase of 44.4% over the same period. Profit after tax was recorded at VND 73.5 billion, an improvement compared to the loss of VND 39.6 billion last year. Gross profit margin nearly doubled, from 6.1% to 13.4%.
In 2024, Binh Dien Fertilizer plans to have total revenue of 7,137 billion VND and pre-tax profit of 210 billion VND. Thus, at the end of the first quarter, Binh Dien Fertilizer has completed 43.4% of the 2024 business plan.
