On the afternoon of September 19, the Education Times Newspaper (standing unit) coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training (organizing unit) to organize the launching ceremony of the writing contest "Memories of teachers and school".
According to the organizers, the contest will focus on profound memories of teachers and school: profound impressions of teachers that the author loves and admires or the special impacts and influences of teachers on learning, perception, and changes in the author's personal life.
The content of the writing contest also focuses on typical, exemplary pedagogical situations and how teachers have solved those situations that the author has encountered or experienced, demonstrating professional capacity, creativity... memories, impressions, deep attachment to the school that the author or the author's friends and relatives have attended...
Participants in the writing contest: Vietnamese citizens whose works comply with the contest rules; members of the Organizing Committee and the Jury of the contest are not allowed to submit works to the contest.
The contest will have 2 collective prizes, 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 10 consolation prizes, 2 prizes for outstanding characters in the winning works, and additional prizes to be considered and decided by the Organizing Committee of the contest, depending on the actual situation of each year.
The entries have not been used or published in any media or publications, have not been posted on websites, blogs, social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter... of organizations or individuals; have not been submitted to any other contests.
Entries may not be published in the author's own books or public collections until the end of the contest. Entrants must guarantee and be responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the characters and content of their entries.
The writing competition was first launched in 2018. Each year, between 60,000 and 80,000 entries are submitted. The winning entries will be published in book form.
