Phan Si Pang Ward organizes fire fighting and rescue drills

The hypothetical situation is given: At 15:00 on April 25, 2024, a fire broke out in the kitchen area of Duy Linh motel, with an area of 20 ^m2 on the first floor of house number 480, Dien Bien Phu, group 2, Phan Si Pang ward, Sa Pa town. The cause of the fire was a gas pipeline leak and the facility's electrical system had not been maintained, repaired or replaced for a long time.

Phan Si Pang Ward People's Committee held a meeting to agree on the drill plan.

After receiving the fire alarm, Phan Si Pang Ward Police urgently mobilized forces to the scene of the fire. Phan Si Pang Ward People's Committee leaders promptly mobilized civil defense forces, neighborhood security guards, militia and self-defense forces, and ward medical staff to quickly go to the scene to coordinate in organizing fire fighting and rescuing people injured by the fire.

Forces actively participated in the fire fighting and rescue drill.

During the drill, the firefighting and rescue teams, the logistics and medical teams were assigned specific tasks to carry out according to the plan. After a period of firefighting, rescue and relief with the sense of urgency and responsibility of the participating forces, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.

According to the assessment of Sa Pa Town Police, the drill has completed the coordination mechanism between forces in commanding and operating firefighting, rescue and relief work; improving firefighting and rescue techniques and tactics.

The drills contribute to improving firefighting and rescue techniques and tactics for participating forces.

Through the drill, the forces flexibly and effectively applied the "4 on-site" motto in firefighting, rescue and relief work in densely populated areas and many production and business establishments in key tourism development areas of Sa Pa town.

It is known that from the beginning of 2024 up to now, in Sa Pa town, the wards of Sa Pa, Ham Rong, Phan Si Pang, Sa Pa have organized 6 practice sessions, rehearsing fire fighting and rescue plans, contributing to improving fire fighting and rescue skills and techniques for forces and people in the area.
