Before that, there will be sideline activities, such as: Exhibition displaying and introducing achievements of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press, press achievements of the province; outstanding socio-economic achievements of Quang Binh province associated with the Spring Press Festival, National Press Festival...
At the meeting, delegates exchanged and discussed many ideas to effectively implement propaganda work and organize activities and events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) in the province.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Tan stated: This is an opportunity to review the glorious tradition, important and great contributions, and noble mission of the Vietnamese revolutionary press in the struggle for national independence, national reunification, building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, implementing the renovation and international integration; to encourage, motivate, praise, honor and show gratitude to generations of journalists and press agencies with outstanding achievements; to foster and educate pride and love for the profession for journalists today.
Therefore, the Provincial Journalists Association, relevant departments, branches, and press agencies in the province need to coordinate closely and synchronously to organize solemn, practical, and effective commemorative events and activities with a variety of appropriate contents and forms, focusing on key points, creating positive propaganda and dissemination effects, highlighting the role and position of the press in social life; effectively implementing the requirement of "building a professional, humane, and modern press and media" in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
