Samsung accounts for the majority of OLED screen production for iPhone 15 series

The report added that Samsung will get the lion's share of OLED shipments this year due to production disruptions from competitors. This is especially beneficial for Samsung because Pro models typically sell quite well in the first few months, meaning Samsung can make more profit than other manufacturers.

While Samsung has secured OLED panel supplies for the iPhone 15, camera module production is said to be lower than expected as LG struggles to supply periscope lenses on the Pro Max models. In addition, many other manufacturers in Apple's supply chain are also struggling and will only see their best results in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Apple will prioritize production of the iPhone 15 Pro, followed by the Pro Max and the regular models. Apple is expected to bring a number of improvements to the iPhone 15 models this year. For the Pro models, they will have ultra-thin bezels, while the regular version will have a Dynamic Island cutout. The camera system will also be improved, with the Pro Max version having a periscope lens.

The iPhone 15 Pro series will be equipped with the A17 Bionic chip, while the regular version will have the same A16 Bionic chip as on the iPhone 14 Pro models.
