The 19th Congress of Ha Tinh Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028 is about to take place. Preparations are being urgently completed, ready for a congress with many new expectations.
By the end of August 2023, the entire province had completed organizing congresses in 100% of the units directly above the grassroots level. The congresses elected 250 official delegates to attend the provincial congress.
The successful congress of the grassroots trade union creates a premise for the 19th Ha Tinh Trade Union Congress.
According to the assessment from the Provincial Federation of Labor, the congresses took place enthusiastically, following the motto "Innovation - Democracy - Solidarity - Development", becoming a great festival for cadres, union members and workers. Documents and personnel work were carefully, thoughtfully, methodically and in accordance with regulations, contributing to the success of the congresses.
Preparing for the 19th Congress of Ha Tinh Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term (to take place on September 25-26), the Provincial Federation of Labor is currently urgently completing the necessary tasks.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee approved the program of the 19th Ha Tinh Trade Union Congress.
Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Le Thi Hai Yen said: “The development and completion of the political report and documents for the congress were carried out in a very methodical and procedural manner, through many steps of collecting comments. After the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee and Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor approved the congress program, the Provincial Federation of Labor urged the subcommittees to focus on implementing tasks related to the organization of the congress in accordance with the instructions and supplements from the superiors.”
Officials and union members responded in unison to change the representative photo frame with the official logo of the Trade Union Congress.
To widely disseminate the activities and programs of the congress, the Provincial Federation of Labor has coordinated with Ha Tinh Newspaper, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, and Labor Newspaper to create reports and propaganda columns before, during and after the congress. The official session of the congress and the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the "Congress logo composition campaign and poems and songs about the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers, and trade union activities" will also be broadcast live on Ha Tinh Newspaper's digital platforms.
Banners, posters and welcome slogans are hung on main roads, gates of agencies, units and businesses.
Under the guidance and direction of the Provincial Federation of Labor, trade unions at all levels also coordinated with localities to widely propagate the congress in many diverse forms.
Chairwoman of the Hong Linh Town Labor Federation Pham Thi Thu Huong said: “In addition to hanging billboards, posters, and running LED letters on main roads, agency headquarters, and units, the union also mobilized cadres and union members to simultaneously replace their representative photo frames with the official logo and congress propaganda posters on their personal Facebook pages; and create short video clips to promote the congress and the emulation movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers.”
Workers enthusiastically compete in production and make achievements to welcome the congress.
The emulation movement in production and labor with thousands of works and tasks to welcome the congress was also launched by trade unions at all levels across the province, creating an exciting atmosphere among union members and workers in the province.
Chairman of the Provincial Economic Zones Trade Union Nguyen Duc Thach said: “The content of the emulation movements is concretized close to reality, focusing on building typical factors as the core and backbone. Since the beginning of the year, 305 technical innovation initiatives of workers have been applied to production, benefiting enterprises by more than 8.5 billion VND; 10 typical workers and laborers of the provincial economic zones have been awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee... Those are the beautiful "flowers" offered to the provincial trade union congress".
The 19th Congress of the Ha Tinh Trade Union will mark a new step of development of the trade union organization in the new situation. Cadres, union members and workers have placed great trust in this congress. Therefore, the direction work has been implemented vigorously by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the preparation work has been carried out carefully and methodically, ready for a congress with many new beliefs and expectations.
