" Bringing electricity to the highlands" is a new charity project by Miss Thuy Tien to help schools in highland provinces that do not have electricity.

Through that, the project helps children have more favorable conditions in studying and daily activities.

Ong Dung school (Tra Leng commune) and Noc Ong Du school (Tra Van commune), in Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province, are the first two schools where Thuy Tien implemented the project "Bringing electricity to the highlands" .

"Once when I visited Nam Tra My, I saw the difficulties of the children here when they had to live in an environment without electricity, I felt so sorry for them.

At that time, Tien thought that when she had the chance, she would return and bring electricity to the children. And that dream came true.

"I feel very happy that the project has been completed at the first two schools of the project," Thuy Tien told Tuoi Tre Online about the reason for implementing the project.

Accompanying Miss Thuy Tien on the project handover trip were her close friends from the African volunteer team.

The African team donated necessary items such as refrigerators, televisions, speakers and meaningful gifts to the children in the highlands at these two schools.

Help highland children have a brighter future

For people in the highlands, electricity is a meaningful and valuable gift that is unmatched.

Having electricity will help students study more conveniently, protect their eye health, and keep food well preserved in the refrigerator.

In addition, the school was given a television, adding a form of entertainment and updating useful information for children in the highlands.

Thuy Tien shared: "Hopefully, after having a new source of energy, the children will have a more solid foundation for the future."

"Currently, the project has just started at two schools in Nam Tra My because Tien knows the local situation and needs here.

When conditions permit and if there are localities that need support, Tien will continue the project.

Tien herself is a person who is very afraid of speaking in advance. Only when she is sure it is complete will she dare to announce it to everyone.

The same goes for the project "Bringing electricity to the highlands". When it is 100% complete, Tien will inform the audience" - Thuy Tien added.

Previously, Thuy Tien performed the program series Du Dem season 2, experiencing night jobs and helping people in difficult circumstances.

Accompanying Thuy Tien are singer Hoa Minzy, Erik, Double2T, MC Khanh Vy, Miss Luong Thuy Linh...

Up to now, the Cheer Up project has completed and put into use 19 playgrounds for sick children in hospitals in many provinces and cities across the country.

The Cheer Up project was initiated by Miss Thuy Tien in mid-2023, aiming to create more play space for sick children, helping them overcome the pain of illness.

Thuy Tien's wish is to deploy this project nationwide.

Provinces and cities that have implemented the project include: Ho Chi Minh City, Ca Mau, Soc Trang, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dong Nai, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh , Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho...
