Simacai: Landslides continue to occur in San Chai commune, causing 7 casualties

According to information from the San Chai commune government, at around 8:00 p.m. on September 9, a serious landslide occurred in Seo Khai Hoa village, causing the houses of two households to collapse completely, killing seven people.

Upon receiving the information, the authorities arrived at the scene of the landslide to conduct search and rescue operations. By 11:30 p.m. the same day, the authorities had successfully rescued 4 victims and taken them to the emergency room, while 3 victims had died. The local authorities handed over the bodies to their families for burial according to local customs.

Earlier that morning, a landslide occurred in Hoa Binh village, San Chai commune. As a result, 3 houses collapsed completely, 2 households managed to escape in time. However, 1 household did not escape in time, causing 4 deaths.
