Students studying in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the technology event "Connecting AI, creating the future", an event organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center in collaboration with MSI and NVIDIA.

From the perspective of a hardware product developer and pioneer in AI technology, Mr. Le Tin, Product Director of MSI Notebook Vietnam, believes that AI has a significant impact on innovation in the educational environment.

On the positive side, Mr. Tin believes that students have the tools and information they need to focus on innovative thinking without having to spend time building it. As a result, students can easily access and open up perspectives on new professions, thereby shaping their passion and choosing the right career path.

On the negative side, many students face invisible pressure, fearing that they have missed out on new trends and are behind technology. This has caused them to constantly "run" after the development of technology, forgetting to thoroughly and deeply research relevant to the profession they are studying.

Mr. Le Tin, Product Manager of MSI Notebook Vietnam, shares about the influence of AI in industries

Sharing at the event, Nguyen Quang Minh, a student majoring in aquaculture at Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, said that he uses AI in his studies such as writing reports, searching for information, doing statistics, surveys, etc. However, Minh admitted that he did not really understand all of these tools, the commands were still quite simple.

"Not only students, schools also need to make changes in training. If students want to develop well, schools must provide space and resources so that students can freely develop their ability to think innovatively and creatively" - Mr. Tin shared.

To help optimize the application of AI in learning, Mr. Minh Duc, an expert on the TinhTe.vn technology forum, guides students on how to summarize lecture content using AI from recordings, text, clips, images; explore AI tools to create content to create cute videos , good songs...; apply AI in entertainment and relaxation.

"AI is a powerful computer tool, but we absolutely should not abuse it. Users need to clearly understand the limits of AI and balance work between AI and humans," Mr. Duc pointed out.

Experts interact with students about applying AI in entertainment

Gia Bao, an information technology student who is currently tutoring elementary school students, believes that many people think that AI can replace teachers. Just give your child a computer or phone to study on their own. However, this is a wrong way of thinking.

"AI cannot replace humans because each child has a different personality, there is no common "formula". In parallel with the teaching process, I guide children to use AI to support learning and increase children's creativity, use AI to learn, not to cope, to solve a problem and that's it" - Bao shared.

Experts emphasize that the use of AI requires capacity and the ability to master technology. Otherwise, humans will become dependent on AI and lose their own value.
