Bao Zheng (999-1062), commonly known as Bao Qingtian or Bao Gong, was from Luzhou, Hefei, and served as an official during the Northern Song Dynasty. He was famous for being an honest official, strictly enforcing the law, not afraid of authority or favoring personal feelings under the reign of Emperor Song Renzong. His talent for fair judgment has been passed down through many legends and has become a popular subject in films.
