Listen to the song ' Hai Duong - City of Love' by Musician Nguyen Vinh Tien
On the morning of October 17, at the Xu Dong Cultural Center, Hai Duong City, awards were presented for art composition competitions about Hai Duong City, including a song composition contest about Hai Duong City.
The songwriting contest about Hai Duong City was launched on May 18, 2023. The Organizing Committee received 102 works from 74 authors from many provinces and cities across the country. The results of the judging and awarding had 10 winning works, including 2 B prizes, 3 C prizes and 5 consolation prizes.
The two works that won the B prize (the highest prize of the contest because there was no A prize) were: “Hai Duong – City of Love” by musicians Nguyen Vinh Tien and Nguyen Xuan Tuan Duong in Bac Tu Liem ( Hanoi ); “Thanh Dong Radiant in Autumn” by musician Minh Quang in Ly Nam De ( Hanoi ).
The three works that won the C prize include: “Hai Duong – City towards the sun” by musician Hoang Van Thanh in Thong Nhat street (Hai Duong city); “Hai Duong – My city” by author Nguyen Manh Thang, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department and “Thanh Dong – City I love” by author Hoang Chi Binh in Long Bien district (Hanoi city).
Five works won consolation prizes by authors Quang Hien in Nguyen Van Cu street (Hanoi), Pham Ngoc Cuong in Tran Phu ward (Hai Duong city), Nguyen Ngoc Khue in Hanoi, Nguyen Trong Tinh in Bac Ninh city and Pham Thi Cam in Quy Nhon city (Binh Dinh).
The songs written about Hai Duong City that were awarded are typical and unique works that express the unique features of history, culture, economy, politics and society of Hai Duong City. The songs contribute to promoting, introducing and publicizing the people and potential of Hai Duong City.
