'Smart Finance', the first online playground in Vietnam

On April 11, Banking Times and FPT Corporation held the launching ceremony of the “financial education playground” for high school students nationwide; at the same time, signed a cooperation agreement to deploy “Smart Finance”, the first online financial education playground in Vietnam for high school students nationwide, following the orientation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Resolution 03/NQ-CP.

The “Smart Finance” playground aims to nurture and educate financial knowledge for students nationwide, helping them form smart spending habits, know how to save and invest; at the same time, practice personal financial management skills from an early age.

Participating in the playground, students will overcome financial challenges designed from basic to advanced levels, practicing skills in managing expenses, saving and making personal financial plans through each round. In particular, they will experience practical financial situations - "very real, very real and extremely necessary skills for adulthood", before entering the national final round.

The “Smart Finance” playground is expected to be deployed from May 2025, for primary, secondary and high school students nationwide. The playground is designed according to a modern model, combining online exams on the VioEdu platform and practical experience activities. It is expected that in the first year, the program will reach more than 1 million students.

The Organizing Committee also expressed the desire to spread financial knowledge in a lively, flexible way that is suitable for the thinking of Generation Z and Alpha.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Dang Hoa - Chairman of FPT IS, FPT Corporation shared: FPT believes that to build an increasingly developed country, it is not only about developing technology, digital transformation or digital economy, the most important thing is to sow the seeds of financial knowledge early so that the young generation of Vietnam can master money and master their own future.

With “Smart Finance”, FPT hopes to join hands with agencies and partners to nurture a solid reserve force, digital citizens who are not only good at technology but also financially savvy, ready to create value and master the digital economy in the new era.

Along with the VioEdu education system, a smart online learning platform, applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology to personalize the learning path for Vietnamese students. After 5 years of operation, VioEdu has attracted about 30 million users.
