Serious accident in Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh City

(NLDO) - While turning right, a tanker truck with a license plate from Long An province suddenly collided with a motorbike driven by a young man.


On December 27, Tan Phu District Police (HCMC) are investigating the cause of a serious traffic accident.

Initial information, at around 3:00 p.m., a male driver was driving a tanker truck with a Long An license plate on D2 Street, heading from Tan Ky Tan Quy Street to Bo Bao 1 Street. When the tanker truck reached the roundabout at the intersection of Tan Thang - D2 Street, in Son Ky Ward, it collided with a motorbike with a Tien Giang license plate driven by a young man also moving along the roundabout.

The victim fell onto the road and was run over by a tanker truck, killing him on the spot.

Tan Phu district authorities then arrived at the scene to extract camera footage and test the driver for drugs.

Initial investigation determined that the victim was delivering water to a customer when the tragic accident occurred.
