TVB actor asks for forgiveness from audience after being released from prison

On June 13, Mingpao reported that actor Yang Ming opened up about his 17-day prison sentence earlier this year for causing a drunk driving accident. The TVB actor said that thanks to this punishment, he had the opportunity to look back on his life, realize his mistakes, and become a more mature and grown-up person than before.

According to Duong Minh, even though he is a famous person, he does not enjoy any treatment in prison, and is even under stricter supervision than ordinary people.

However, he was fortunate to have a few friendly inmates to help him integrate. In an environment without family and friends around, the actor wrote a diary, read books and exercised to create joy for himself.

He was escorted back to prison immediately after the trial. In January 2023, the actor was released from prison, one day earlier than the sentence.
