According to the request of the leaders of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, a section of road 991B must be opened to traffic on April 30, the remaining section will be opened to traffic in June. Therefore, the construction site is currently mobilizing personnel to work "3 shifts, 4 shifts" to increase work output.

At Rach Tre Bridge, the construction atmosphere is also bustling. After a period of getting stuck on the site, workers have started drilling bored piles, installing load-reducing floors and reinforced concrete pile foundations. Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, a worker here, said that the terrain of the area is somewhat special as some sections are in a semi-tidal area. “The water level rises and falls continuously, barges can only enter the dock when the water level is suitable. There were days when the water level was too low, we had to stop working and wait for hours,” he said.
