"We must build an IT industry based on high technology in both hardware and software. We must build an IT and communications infrastructure to ensure the convergence of electronic, telecommunications and information technology services in the near future," said Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of CMC Technology Group at the celebration ceremony.
Minister Nguyen Manh Hung awarded certificates of merit to CMC collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in contributing to the construction and development of the IT industry in Vietnam.
At the celebration, Minister of Information and Communications - Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung presented a special birthday gift to CMC: "CMC, please accept a national mission, a mission to solve a problem, a pain of the country, of humanity, to make the country prosperous, to make humanity happier. The nation is eternal and the business that is attached to it, therefore will also be eternal".
It is known that in 30 years of development, CMC Technology Group has had the following achievements and marks:
- Owning a world-class neutral data center - CMC Creative Space with a land area of 13,133 m2 located in Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
- CMC has also received investment approval to build the second CMC Creative Space in Hoa Lac High-Tech Park with a construction land area of 3.88 hectares, with a total investment capital of more than 2,000 billion VND.
- CMC Technology Group also owns 2,500 km of CVCS (Cross Vietnam Cable System) backbone, the first Vietnamese cable connecting across Southeast Asia, a non-physical digital infrastructure with a digital ecosystem for organizations and businesses.
In addition, CMC has focused on investing in training high-quality digital human resources, with the highlight being the opening of CMC University, the first digital university model in Vietnam.
