Visit and give gifts to typical ethnic minority families

On the eve of the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Ninh Binh Province in 2024, on the afternoon of October 15, Comrade Tong Quang Thin, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Congress Organizing Committee visited and presented gifts to a number of typical policy families who are ethnic minorities in Nho Quan district.

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of Nho Quan district.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Bui Dinh Tiep, a 61% disabled soldier, Yen Thuy village, Yen Quang commune; Mr. Dinh Xuan Hong, a 61% disabled soldier, Tien Phuong 1 village, Van Phuong commune; Mrs. Dinh Thi Xuan, wife of martyr Nguyen Tien Dat, Nga 2 village, President of the Elderly Association of Cuc Phuong commune.

These are all policy families, Muong ethnic groups with prestige in the community, trusted and supported by the Party Committee, government and people, assigned many important tasks in the locality and are the center of the great solidarity bloc of the people at the grassroots level.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation visited and presented gifts to Ms. Dinh Thi Xuan, wife of a martyr and Chairwoman of the Elderly Association of Cuc Phuong commune.

At the places he visited, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee kindly inquired about their health and expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of policy families and meritorious people among ethnic minorities to the cause of national construction and defense as well as the development of the locality.

He hoped that families would continue to uphold revolutionary traditions, take the lead in local movements, and contribute to strengthening the political system at the grassroots level. Continue to propagate and mobilize ethnic minorities to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; actively participate in socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security, and maintain national unity.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested local Party committees and authorities to continue to pay attention to building socio -economic infrastructure in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, focusing on mobilizing investment resources to support communes, villages and hamlets with special difficulties; build and complete essential infrastructure works to serve the lives of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, focusing on preserving and promoting the fine cultural identities of ethnic minorities; at the same time, pay attention to honoring, rewarding and encouraging good people, good deeds and prestigious people among ethnic minorities.
