Visit and give gifts to meritorious people and war invalids

On July 23, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vung Tau Ward (HCMC) organized delegations to visit and present gifts to 30 people with revolutionary contributions in the area on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Comrade Nguyen Tan Ban, Party Secretary, Chairman of Vung Tau Ward People's Council, presented a gift to Comrade Tran Van Khanh, former Secretary of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee, a resistance activist who was imprisoned by the enemy, and a 2/4 war invalid.

At the places visited, the ward leaders expressed their deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, sick soldiers, people infected with toxic chemicals, and martyrs' families... At the same time, they sent wishes of good health and encouraged individuals to continue to promote their exemplary roles and contribute to the development of the locality.

On the same day, the Party Committee and Command of Minh Dam Regiment (Ho Chi Minh City Command) visited and presented gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, meritorious people, and officers and staff of Long Dat Nursing Center for War Invalids and Meritorious People.

At the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Doan Xuan Son, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Minh Dam Regiment expressed his gratitude to previous generations; encouraged their spirit and presented many meaningful gifts.

Minh Dam Regiment also coordinated with the center to build a model of "Gratitude Vegetable Garden" to serve daily meals for wounded and sick soldiers.
